LITURGICAL MINISTER WORKSHOP LETTER
December 28, 2016
Dear Liturgical Ministers:
I hope this letter finds you well. First, I offer my heartfelt and sincerest thanks to you, who volunteer your time and talents in our parish. I admire your skills, knowledge, and willingness to serve. You and your attributes are extremely valuable in the service of the ministry you perform.
I wish for you to continue to grow in your faith and in your service. To foster this growth and to come into compliance with Diocesan Policy, specified training is required. Click www.sdcatholic.org/workshops for the 2017 Schedule of Workshops, Workshop Descriptions and the 2017 Workshop Registration Form for Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, Lectors and Sacristans.
Remember in order to continue to serve your parish on the altar in the capacity of Liturgical Minister, you will need to have completed the applicable workshop(s) provided by the Diocese of San Diego in calendar year 2017. Please complete the registration form for the ministry or ministries of your choice and bring it to the parish office for my signature. It can then be mailed along with payment to the Diocese of San Diego.
Upon completion of your workshop(s), please provide a copy of your Proof of Attendance to the Parish Office. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this letter, please consult the parish office. Many blessings to you and your families.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Higinio Garcia
